Tonight on "Critical Thinking" on 98.7WFMT Chicago and wfmt.com, I pay tribute to the wonderful and too-little-known African-American Chicago singer-songwriter Terry Callier, who was found dead at his home yesterday at age 67.
I play music from his 1964 Prestige LP "The New Folk Sound of Terry Callier" and his 1972 Chess/Cadet LP "What Color Is Love?" whose stunning album cover is shown here below. And I add a couple of bonus pieces as well.
