The National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing -- aka "The Egg" -- site of the last two CSO Asia tour performances.
CSO principal flute Mathieu Dufour rode a camel to the Great Wall.
CSO assistant principal viola and Shanghai native Li-kuo Chang is interviewed by one of the ace New York Times Beijing correspondents, Edward Wong, for a story perhaps a bit less complex than those from Ed's years of covering the War in Iraq. Li-kuo played a major role in lobbying for and helping to bring about the CSO's historic first trip to China.
